Eco-Friendly Construction Methods.
“Green buildings are not about buildings – it’s about people”
In this globalizing world, the journey of finding peak of the technology has been increasing enormously day by day. We could do whatever we want easily and effectively by using them. New inventions have been being introduced back to back which make us realise evidently that we are in the revolution of technology. There is no wonder that our future generation is going to be more innovative than us. Undoubtedly we are going to enter the new world where we all have stared the movie named Tomorrow land as soon as possible.
As the newton’s third low “There is reaction for every action” which means as much as the growth of the technology it’s obvious to see some bad sides also increasing. Climate changes, air pollution, water pollution, scarcity of natural resources, health issues and mainly global warming are some of them. Is there any ways to come out of these troubles? Literally yes! Those issues can be also changed by modifying our astonishing technology.
“Everything you can imagine can be real” like that saying nothing is impossible in this machine world when we have the creative people among us who are playing the major role in this revolution. According to that, eco-friendly construction methods have been presented to make our world to be the safest, healthiest and the long living place not only for us but also for the future generations too. Everyone knows about eco-system which have biotic and abiotic components that live in and interact with each other. Every creatures are important to this world especially natural resources. Eco friendly methods paves the way to less destruction of natural resources, cost saving and less energy being used to produce the building from machinery. By using eco-friendly construction methods we could reduce the waste and expenses, control temperature, save energy, enhance the environment quality and some others.
There are plenty of alternative methods have been being proposed so far under the topic of eco-friendly construction methods. Ferrock, terrazzo floor, reclaimed wood, recycled steel, rammed earth, plant based polyurethane rigid foam, recycled plastic, geopolymer material and other numerous tactics have been being implemented. We could catch sight of enrichment of the world via these implementation. There are various benefits of each of the methods.
Terrazzo floor is made by using waste materials from other projects which are marble, recycled glass, cement and porcelain. Ferrock is made of steel dust and it joins with the carbon negative materials along with hempcrete which is a mixture of hemp hurds, lime, sand and pozzolans and timbercrete which is a mixture of sawdust and concrete. Rammed earth which was used by our ancestors ordinarily, has been being used nowadays with some meandered changes according to this fashionable world. Reclaimed wood, recycled steel are also playing major roles in eco-friendly construction methods which are long lasting materials and decomposable. Geopolymer materials are less expensive and emit low gases. We could mention a lot of advantages of eco-friendly construction methods more than we have included above.
“Environment isn’t asking us to conserve her for her but for our future generations”- we should be more aware of these things to make this world more than better place to live for us and our future generations. The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone will save it. We should not make that happen. Lets be the changer without expecting that someone will be the game changer. Take for granted the saying “There’s no beauty in the finest cloth if it makes hunger and happiness” that there is no bright future if we don’t take care of our planet well.
Live green; think green; love green; happily ever after with green.
