Empowering Sri Lanka with 5G
When it comes to the history of communication, it goes a long way. The concept of communication, which began with the sign language, has evolved today with the advancement of technology. Communication, which began with the symbolic language of the day, is now transcending verbal and virtual means of communication, transcending universal communication, and passing the last age of 4G technology. We can talk about Sri Lanka with 5G as one of the most talked about concept today.
The concept of 5G should be identified first when talking about empowering Sri Lanka with 5G. While there is still no clear definition of the concept of 5G, 5G is powered by a combination of new technologies called millimeter wave, tiny cells, massive MIMO, beamforming, and full duplex. This 5G technology can be identified as a fast, efficient, and convenient technology that is many times faster than the 4G LTE technology currently used in Sri Lanka.
This technology, which is currently available in developed countries such as the United States and France, is already being implemented in Sri Lanka, along with 5G technology, it will be possible to facilitate the work of various scholars and thereby obtain a higher quality output. 5G technology has the potential to empower the greatest number of fields in life, including connectivity, transportation, and education.
When talking about Sri Lanka with 5G, let us consider the ways in which this field can be improved. The wireless mobile technology that came with 1G is now surpassing 2G,3G, 4G, 4G LTE and will soon be available for use by Sri Lankans with 5G mobile phones with some more advancements than now. It also enables the client to get a more efficient service through this. Nowadays the use of e-learning has become more widespread and we are able to have a nominal experience using 5G technology in a context where those services have become essential services.
We all know that the health sector in Sri Lanka is at a very high level at the moment. With the advancement of healthcare with 5G technology, it will enable the patient to receive a more reliable quality and effective service. For an example, in a surgery performed with the assistance of a specialist doctor in abroad, robotic technology will be used to operate the elite hand in a way that the doctor can handle. This will enable patients to seek the services of the doctor of their choice from Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka is currently the hub of 5G technology in South Asia and we need to talk about agriculture and 5G technology. Agricultural industry is one of the oldest industries in Sri Lanka and is our main livelihood. The use of technological tools is now common in agriculture. There are people who lead busy lives and they too will be able to devote time to agriculture through 5G technology. The use of robotic technology will enable the use of technical support instead of human labor to achieve higher quality yields. It is possible to use this technology step by step, not only from growing crops to harvesting, but also packaging. In the same way 5G technology can also be used to get a more effective quality agricultural service as well.
Another sector that is being aided by 5G technologies is engineering technology. Engineering technology covers a wide range of aspects, including 5G technology powered by smart city building construction as well as a variety of designer products. Instead of relying on personnel to run all resources, robotics equipped with 5G technologies will be used to create new methods of performing daily work. 5G technology can also be used for subjects such as genetic engineering, which exist in engineering category. With 5G technology, quality will be a hundred thousand times faster than existing technological constructions and with 5G Sri Lanka will be able to become a powerful country not only in South Asia but in the whole world.
In the field of transportation, 5G technology has been used to create inventions, and the automatic car is one of them. Automated buses and trains can be manufactured using this technology, which can be used to stop traffic jams and provide a faster and safer service. This technology will be applicable not only to the greats we have talked about so far but to all sectors and will enable us to make Sri Lanka a more efficient country with advanced technology. We must also keep in mind that the Green Revolution through 5G technology is also an essential concept that needs to be built. As Sri Lankans, we all unite to achieve the highest quality product with the least manpower and the lowest cost in Sri Lanka combined with 5G technology by near future.
