Empowering Sri Lanka with 5G
When we talk about the internet, 4G is a very familiar word. In the mobile telecommunication world most of the time we can hear about 4G. In the telecommunication world the technology is developing very fastly, so now after a long time we have the 5th generation of the telecommunication world. 5G is the 5th generation technology standard in telecommunication. In the future we have to connect a lot of devices with the internet and if we want to communicate with those devices we must have the fastest internet connection. 4G is a fast network technology. But yet, it is not fast enough to compete in the challenging technological development. So the solution is 5G. It is the fastest wireless telecommunication technology in the world. When we talk about the speed of the 5G technology, the minimum speed is 5Gbps.
It is quite fast when compared with the 4th generation. So, by upgrading to 5G we can make sure that we are stable to face the technological trends on the perspective of the internet. There are many service providers in Sri Lanka. And yes, the good news is, some are planning to upgrade their services to 5G technology. A proper internet connection is a major requirement of a smart and developing society. A country should be always sufficient and stable with a good internet connection. Otherwise, we cannot match up with the other countries. It may cause our country to fall back even more.
Technological development is a must of a country. Nowadays, almost everything depends on the evolving technology. People have to be up to date with the latest trends and they should have proper services and technologies to join the digital world. Even the people who are working with tech, can face the challenge of internet instability. So, as Sri Lankans, we all are in need of a proper internet connection. Otherwise, we are sure going to fall back as a nation. Technology is ever improving and the world is going ahead with it. So, we have to adapt to it and go ahead with it.
So, why do we need 5G? Isn’t the already existing 4G enough? Well, 4g has been there for a long period of time and people are facing difficulties with internet speed even with that. A 10 seconds of time we spend to load a web page can cost thousands of hours from the whole country’s working time. That is why a country’s development is faster with a better internet speed and a better internet connection. Almost everyone out there is a part of the digital world. So, a better quality in the perspective of the internet is a sign of development. So, let's empower Sri Lanka with 5G.
The ultra low latency, reliability and extra super fast speed will in turn affect the daily lives of people. It will make them able to perform their workload faster. That speed will result in the development of the country with increased workload performed per unit time. That is why we need 5G for Sri Lanka. A better internet connection, a better country with a better quality of life!
